A Curated Directory

Curated Publishing Co. is intentionally selective and focused specifically on children’s illustrations, picture books, educational publishing, and visual storytelling.

Illustrator applications are reviewed based on portfolio quality, professionalism, publishing alignment, and overall fit for the directory. Curated Publishing Co. is a curated connection directory. We are not an employer, talent agency, publisher representative, or guarantor of project outcomes.

By purchasing a Standard or Premium illustrator listing, you understand and agree to the following:

What your listing is:

An illustrator listing is a paid annual placement in the Curated Publishing Co. directory. It provides visibility to author members who browse the directory. It is not an offer of work, a guarantee of clients, or a promise of income.

No guarantee of results. Curated Publishing Co. does not guarantee any inquiries, contacts, projects, commissions, sales, earnings, or business outcomes of any kind from your listing. Author interest, contact, and hiring decisions are entirely outside our control. Your listing fee pays for placement in the directory only — not for results.

Featured placement (Premium). Premium listings include featured placement opportunities, which may consist of homepage visibility, editorial highlights, or priority positioning within the directory. Featured placement determines where and how prominently your listing appears; it does not guarantee inquiries, leads, projects, or income. The specific format, location, and rotation of featured placement is determined solely by Curated Publishing Co. and may change or rotate periodically.

Direct relationships. All communication, negotiations, contracts, pricing, timelines, revisions, and payments occur directly between you and authors. Curated Publishing Co. is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any agreement, dispute, or outcome between you and any author.

Yearly billing & auto-renewal. Illustrator listings are billed annually and automatically renew each year at the then-current rate for your listing tier until cancelled. You may cancel anytime in your account settings to stop future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current annual period; your listing remains active until then. All listing fees are final and non-refundable, including for unused time, inactivity, lack of inquiries, or voluntary cancellation

Listing standards. Your listing must feature only original, human-created artwork in compliance with our Original Human-Created Artwork policy. Curated Publishing Co. reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend, or remove any listing at its sole discretion, including for policy violations, without refund.
