Purchase Options Cancellation Policy

Author memberships and illustrator listing memberships purchased through Curated Publishing Co. renew automatically according to the selected billing cycle unless canceled prior to renewal.

Members may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings or by contacting support. 

Memberships automatically renew annually unless canceled prior to the renewal date. Renewal reminder emails are sent approximately 5 days before billing.

Cancellation prevents future recurring charges only. Membership access and listing visibility will remain active through the end of the current billing period.

Curated Publishing Co. does not provide refunds, prorated reimbursements, or credits for partial billing periods, unused membership time, inactive accounts, or voluntary cancellations.

If a subscription renewal payment fails, membership access or listing visibility may be suspended until payment is successfully processed.

Curated Publishing Co. reserves the right to modify membership pricing, features, or subscription offerings at any time. Existing members will be notified of material pricing changes prior to renewal whenever reasonably possible. 

Illustrator Standards

At Curated Publishing Co., we are committed to maintaining a professional, creative, and trustworthy platform for authors and illustrators. Every illustrator application is carefully reviewed to ensure the quality, originality, and professionalism of our community.

Acceptance to Curated Publishing Co. is selective and based on portfolio quality, originality, professionalism, and overall platform fit.

Portfolio Requirements

Illustrators applying to the platform submit:

• A professional portfolio with original artwork
• Character illustrations
• Environmental or background scenes
• Storytelling or sequential artwork samples
• Consistent artistic quality and style
• Samples appropriate for publishing or commercial projects

Children’s publishing experience is preferred but not required.

Original Human-Created Artwork Only

Curated Publishing Co. proudly supports authentic human creativity.

All artwork submitted to the platform must be fully original and created by the illustrator. AI-generated artwork, AI-assisted artwork, AI paint-overs, traced artwork, or stolen artwork are strictly prohibited.

Illustrators found violating this policy may have their profiles suspended or permanently removed from the platform without notice.

Professional Expectations

Illustrators on the platform are expected to:

• Communicate professionally and respectfully
• Meet agreed-upon deadlines
• Deliver high-quality work
• Be open to revisions and collaboration
• Maintain ethical business practices

Curated Publishing Co. reserves the right to remove inactive, unprofessional, or policy-violating members at any time.

Membership Levels

Standard Illustrator

Standard Illustrators meet the platform’s core quality and professionalism standards and are eligible to appear within the illustrator directory.

Premium Illustrator

Premium Illustrators demonstrate exceptional portfolio quality, strong storytelling ability, publishing readiness, and professional presentation. Featured placement may include homepage visibility, editorial highlights, and priority directory positioning.

Featured placement is determined solely by Curated Publishing Co. and may rotate periodically.

Application Decisions

Submission to the platform does not guarantee acceptance.

Curated Publishing Co. reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend, or remove applications and memberships at its sole discretion.
